•Diet: Omnivorous; thrives on a varied diet of high-quality cichlid pellets, live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and occasional vegetable matter.

•Tank Setup: Provide a fine sand substrate to allow natural foraging behavior, driftwood, rocks, and open swimming areas. Use gentle filtration to avoid disturbing the substrate.

•Tank Mates: Compatible with other peaceful or semi-aggressive cichlids, catfish, large tetras, and rainbowfish. Avoid overly aggressive or small species.

Breeding Tips:

Geophagus Sveni are substrate spawners and show strong parental care. Breeding pairs will lay eggs on flat surfaces and protect their fry after hatching. Maintaining excellent water quality encourages successful spawning.
